1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using MileSeat (“the Service”) at mileseat.com you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

MileSeat is an award flight availability search platform. We aggregate and display award seat availability data across multiple airlines to help travellers identify dates on which award redemptions may be possible. We are not an airline, travel agent, or booking platform.

MileSeat does not make bookings on your behalf. All bookings must be made directly with the relevant airline or booking programme.

3. Data accuracy disclaimer

Award availability data is sourced from publicly accessible airline systems and is provided for informational purposes only. Availability can change within seconds — a seat shown as available by MileSeat may no longer be available by the time you attempt to book it.

MileSeat makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of award availability data. We are not liable for any travel costs, losses, or inconvenience arising from reliance on data displayed on the Service.

4. User accounts

You must create an account to use features such as seat alerts. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.

5. Permitted use

You may use MileSeat for personal, non-commercial travel planning. You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from the Service
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service
• Attempt to reverse engineer or extract our underlying data sources
• Resell, redistribute, or create derivative products from our data
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems

6. Seat alerts

Seat alerts are provided as a convenience feature. We do not guarantee delivery of alert notifications. Alert emails may be delayed or may not arrive due to spam filters, email provider issues, or service maintenance.

You may delete your alerts at any time from your account page. We reserve the right to limit the number of active alerts per account.

7. Intellectual property

All content, design, and code comprising the MileSeat Service is owned by or licensed to MileSeat. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

Airline names, logos, and trademarks displayed on MileSeat are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. MileSeat is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any airline.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MileSeat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $10.

9. Service availability

We strive to keep MileSeat available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hello@mileseat.com.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction, as required by applicable law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
